Airtel New Recharge Offer 

The War between Telecom companies is not finished. This war is continuing and Airtel announced revise plan of its old 799/- Recharge offer. In this Offer Details are given here.

After the revision, Bharti Airtel is now offering 3.5GB of 3G or 4G data to the customers along with unlimited local, STD, and roaming voice calls and also 100 local and national SMS every day under it's Rs 799 plan. This is a prepaid plan and comes with a validity of 28 days. Airtel's Rs 799 plan gives direct competition to Jio's Rs 799 plan.

To recall, Bharti Airtel launched the Rs 799 plan last year. At the time of the introduction, Airtel offered 3GB data every day along with unlimited local and STD calls and 100 SMSes. Back then, the plan was also valid for 28 days only. So, the only revision that the telecom operator made to the plan is in the data offering segment. Overall, Airtel is offering a total of 98GB of 3G/4G data for 28 days.

Airtel's Rs 799 plan directly counters Jio's Rs 799 plan. Both the plans are available for the prepaid users only. To recall, Jio's Rs 799 plan was initially announced exclusively for the iPhone users but is now available for all prepaid users. Under the Rs 799 plan, Jio users get 2GB of 4G data every day, along with unlimited voice calls and SMSes and access to all Jio apps. This accounts for a total of 84GB of data in 28 days.

Considering the two plans looks like, as far as the data offering is concerned, Airtel's Rs 799 is better as it offers 3.5GB of data for 28 days - which is a total of 98GB data. While, on the other hand, Jio offers 3GB of data for 28 days, which is a total of 84GB of data. However, Jio's Rs 799 is better for voice call is your priority.

Jio offers unlimited local and STD calls to its users. While, although Airtel claims to offer "unlimited" calls - but this isn't quite literally. Under the Rs 799 plan, Airtel comes with a restricted calling facility of 250 minutes per day and 1,000 minutes per week. This offer applies to both local and STD calls.
