BIG News For You Tubers - New Monetization Rules and Policy

The big new come from YouTube about new YouTube partner Policy (Monetization). YouTube change their monetization policy for all YouTube channels. As per YouTube new policy is harder, in this policy all channels need at least 4,000 watch hours in the previous 12 months and 1,000 subscribers. This policy applicable from 16th Jan. 2018 and on all YouTube channels whether channels are new or old.  

If you are new on Youtube and not approved for monetization, then complete these criteria first and then apply for review for monetization. 4000 Watch hours will be counted from all videos and from past 12months. 1000 Subscribers are important for all Youtube channel for monetization.  

For Old YouTube Channel have 35 days for fulfill this new policy. that means Old YouTube channel should complete this rules on or before 20th Feb. 2018.  

  

Old Youtube Program Policy was only 10,000 lifetime views. But its changed to 4,000 watch hours in the previous 12 months and 1,000 subscribers. 

Our view - This Policy is changed, because of Lots of Youtube channels are opened and not work properly. They work for some time and then letter closed or inactive. But new policy changed is harder and youtubers will have to work continuously. If they are not work and subscriber or Watch hours go down (from given Criteria) then youtube remove from Partner Program. 

NEW YOUTUBE PARTNER PROGRAM POLICY:

Criteria : 4,000 watch hours in the previous 12 months

 1,000 subscribers

Applicable on Which YouTube Channels : Applicable on Old and New YouTube Channels

Applicable From 16th Jan. 2018. (For New Youtube Channel Who not Partner with Youtube Program)

Note : Old Youtube Channel Should Comply with this policy before 20th Feb. 2018. (Else they Remove From YouTube Policy Program)
